as far as im concerned, at this point in his life, ed is washed up......he cant play the guitar nearly as well as he used to be able to(he cant even remember how cathedral goes)so it is in my oppinion that brian young blows his ass away, i have recent concert footage of brian, and he plays eds songs better than ed has in years, big ups to him

Yeah I like Brian too, but he is still just copying Ed the

original, and we have been a bit hard on him here.

I would like to see/hear Brian and Toshi on a new

rocking album from Dave. Let's see how they rock

with original Dave stuff.

Man, I saw Brian w/DLR last year, and he fuckin' TORE IT UP!! That dude is fuckin' SERIOUS!! I hope Dave keeps him. He kicks Ed's ass at Ed's own game...

Bart Walsh was good too.. Both these guys can play Ed better then Ed at this point in time... I think another reason for the Van Hagar reunion is Ed only has to play pussified Halen. I dont think he
is quite up for the Classic Van Halen gig just yet. But at least he is practicing !
