Willis McGahee, are you kidding me?

I'm a firm believer that McGahee will make an impact in the NFL...probably next year...maybe this year...who knows...

but to demand to start or be dealt the year after the starter had 1500 yards and 11 td's is totally insane...

I hope they bench his ass for the season...

obviously trying to play them into a deal with Miami...

they oughta deal him to hell...

that being said...he's going to be a great back if that knee holds up...

Pretty potent 1-2 punch right now, but it won't last for sure...

I wouldn't be surprised to see Henry gone after next year, as opposed to McGahee....

I would never...ever keep a guy that had that kind of injury over a proven NFL vet like Henry...

I can't think of 1 NFL star...or even great NFL back who ever recovered from that kind of injury to be more than adequate at the position...

maybe Garrison Hearst...who played for years with a mild tear in the knee...

      but really...who else? Maybe I'm forgetting someone...and I know he's young...

but if you deal Henry...and McGahee eventually reinjures that knee...

Donahoe will be lookin' for a job...

I mean the guy tore every damn ligament in that knee...

he may look good now...but he WILL reinjure that knee...or it will be a chronic issue...

        Henry...fumbling a lot or not...is a damn fine back...

I meant that, under the assumption that the knee holds up, that Henry would be gone next year....

Now Rod Woodson tore his ACL in '95 and came back to play in the Super Bowl the same year....

He may not have been the same guy afterwards, but I think just as much of that can be attributed to age, rather than the knee....

The guy only lost 3 fumbles last year... Ahman lost 5, Jamal 6, Tiki 6, Shaun Alexander 3... just to name a few.

Henry is a freakin' stud. He played with a broken leg and broken ribs last year!

I say good day to Willis. What balls to have for a guy who has accomplished nothing in the NFL, except for 4 TD's in a scrimage against the Browns???

No offense Va...but his speed was sapped after that injury...attribute it to whatever you want...but a couple of years of age doesn't make you a slow corner...which he was...

A couple of points...a corner rarely...takes as much wear and tear as a lead back...who takes a knock on nearly every offensive play...whether it's blocking...or carrying the ball...

Woodson...after that injury...even when he was moved to safety...was rarely considered a ball hawk...

I'm just saying...if you look at running backs...who have faced an injury similar to that one...

                ie...Jamal Anderson...

                ie...Terrell Davis...

                you just aren't the same...

                and are prone to reinjury...

Didn't Jamal have the same injury? Or was it no as severe?

                    LMFAO...yeah...I believe he did...

                    I don't think it was as severe...I can't remember...

I know McGahee tore both major ligaments in his knee...

                      If I remember correctly...

                      Lewis tore his ACL...

and had torn it previously in college...

showing it can be a chronic injury...although he rebounded from it obviously...

McGahee tore his ACL, his MCL, and partially tore his PCL.....as severe an injury of the knee you could have...

Lewis is still one hit away from it happening again. I agree, you're never 100% ever again.

                          Yeah...no doubt about it....

that's the catch 22 with Lewis...will he or won't he...

                          and now of course...prison...

                          lmfao...

and Henry gets hurt... Shoulder injury, he actually might miss time... although I doubt Travis will want it.

                              It wasn't a thing Troy...what I'm hearing...a deep bruise...

                              he'll be back and fine...

but now...no way they deal either one of them...
