Nah not really, but the price, so far is pretty good (i can get a respray done for a case of beer). Im sure it will go for alot more but here's hoping !! Praps the shitty colour will deter people from bidding !

But yes, any American Standard, reissue or a special model is a better guitar with much more value...
I bought a 70's styled strat that was hecho en mexico. The setup was perfect out of the box. I never had to tweak a thing and it plays and sounds great. It has the big fat U shaped neck. I can't complain.

Black with a maple fretboard seems to be the cheapest color...
Dude, I could find you a steal within a week or two of looking...
BTW, I just bought a real 1997 Yngwie Malmsteen scalloped rosewood neck...
Let's see, that makes seven scalloped necks, soon to be eight...
How's the Megadeth song go ??
If i know i'm going crazy, I must not be insane...
I always wanted to mess around with a scalloped neck but haven't yet. I know some people love them and other hate them. Some only scallop the uper register. It does look badass though.
Personally, I dig those all-gold strats. I almost bought one back in 1989. I saw The Who's 25'th Aniversay Tour and Daltrey was playin' one during "Eminence Front" and I thought they looked killer. I just love Strats sooo damn much anyway. lol. Anyway, I then saw one that fall (1989) in a local mucsic store and came sooo friggin' close to buyin' it. I ended up buying new wheels and tires for my SUV instead.
That total gold with the maple fretboard is sooooo good lookin' IMO. I'd never buy the Mexican one though unless I inquired about them. Unlike older Japanese Strats, I don't hear a heck of a lot of good things about The Mexican products.
Thats quite nice. Never played a scalloped neck. The price is pretty decent, although id imagine it will go for heaps more. Cheers ill keep an eye on it. Now I just need to practice my harmonic minor scales and my 3 string arpeggio sweeping............
