I heard that Sting is going to be the new bass player. However, since the Police have reunited for a 2007 summer/fall tour the VH tour had to be postponed for summer of 2008. The new albulm will contain yet another Van Halen cover song. This time it will be a 2008 version of the 1986 Police revision of their orginal 1980 classic "Don't Stand so Close". Diamond Dave has decided to make this version into a Big Band Sinatra song much to the chagrin of Sting who has threatened to leave the band. Latest reports are that Flea may step in to play bass only if he can sell his new Flea bug spray on the VH website. EVH has already stated that if you are not 110% in VH you cannot sell any products. The latest latest reports are that John Wetton of Asia will take Fleas place after the Asia tour.
