Got a question on this....
Don't need to tell you guys what you already know, but the versions of RWTD, PW, YRGM, and Happy Trails (attached at the end) come from the US Fest....
But the thing that impresses me on these versions is the vastly improved audio quality, as compared to previous versions I've heard... I couldn't believe much different (as better !!!) these versions were, especially with Dave's singing...
As one poster stated in the guitars101 thread, the RWTD version is the best live version I've ever heard....
My question to you guys is does anyone have MP3's of the entire US Festival VH concert with that type of quality ???

I just downloaded South American Assault yesterday actually. But I haven't listened close enough, but I think they are clearly different live performances.
SAA is an awesome soundboard, I think maybe it was a radio broadcast or something. The only criticism I have is that the bass is turned up a bit loud and it almost sounds like the guy who mixed it wanted a rap style ultra loud bass! The subwoofer in my car go "BOOM!" on a few songs.

No, I have no idea. I just down loaded both boots recently, so I have really no idea.
But I do wonder why they would mix the boots so to speak.
But I have seen at VHboots that there are different versions (two or three?) from the US Fest, including the one in my sig, "Sea of Faces, Oceans of Beer!"
I wish they just kept everything together!
I do also know that the different song mixes had to do with the fact that I think MTV broadcast part of the concert and some were able to make high quality copies from their soundbooth soundboard on some songs, but not all of them.
But then again, maybe I am just shitting out of my mouth.
