Dave was the greatest vocalist of all time IMO until about 1992 (After ALAE), but his voice tanked enormously after that and is never coming back.
I don't know what happened to it in in the time between ALAE and YFLM, but the difference is huge between those 2 albums.
No shame. The guy trashed his voice for 30 years just to that point in time.
I'm just saying he simply cannot sing above octave zero anymore.
