I recall hearing the audio only version and I love it! Would love to have it on an album.

Nobody can cover a song like Dave and Ed. Period.

I liked those guys. Especially their version of Tom Waits' Hang On St. Christopher.
I liked Freakshow. Za Za was where they crashed and burned but by then the entire scene was waning.

I don't care what they Van Halenize. Preferably something bluesy though.
Actually I think he's making 80 phone calls to find a record label... they sure can't be found on anything related to Interscope Records anymore!!!

Love the Bluesy stuff from the boys. Wouldn't it be Badass to see DLR pull out a harmonica?!?!

Something by the Billion Dollar Babies. That would rule.

That doesn't sound good. Did we ever know the longevity of the deal? All that talk of "the Van Halen's wanted their frontman to be comfortable with the chosen label" and now there ain't one? A hearty WTF to that.

Yeah, and all the talk of Dave handling the promotion duties. Yeah, awesome job there. A billboard in Times Square that maybe 37 people even knew to look for and knew what it meant. The building on the Strip was nice, though. Too bad that was pretty much the extent of it.

I know, I know, nobody cares how many records they sell. Whatever. This is supposed to be Van Fucking Halen! Promote, promote, promote!!

Yeah I thought they did a piss poor job of promotion.
And you know what you could see why they would , they release records every 25 years so what's to get so excited about .

He went from doing that comical audio promo he did for the tour with Kool & the Gang to standing in the woods with Rusty, proclaiming the band bit off more than they could chew. I wish he utilized his film/video talents during the past year and a half with some music videos. Tattoo and She's The Woman warranted better visual treatment.

I've got a vision in my head for a kick ass As Is video treatment. It would have an ending similar to the end of the Devil's Rejects. The band blazing through the desert in a convertible, firing back at the police with the e-bow swells going. Off into the sun set like a spark on the horizon.
