Yes I knew Randy Rhoads... We used to hang out in the late 70's and he asked me to join Quiet Riot in 79 but I had my own little band.
He did audition, but, his name was still Frank Ferrano and Rhoads had to tune his bass for him.

The dumbass in charge of Big Machine Records in Nashville has decided to release a country music tribute album of all MC covers. Friend of mine writes for Scott Borchetta. I told him to tell Scott he must be a fucking moron for doing this.
2. Here is the last time I saw them....absolutely fucking horrible. Mick Mars guitar solo is the worst I have ever seen by an arena act. Within minutes of him beginning his "solo" I walked out into the mezzanine and stayed there until his solo was over. If I had gone by myself, I would have walked out of the venue and left, but I was with friends, so I had to wait for the show to be over before I could leave.
Fuck Motley Crue and fuck Vince Neil.

I recently watched the show. Music was alright but Vince sounded like absolute shit.
Atrocious. He wasn't even singing actual words - not even the "standard" live show
skip a word here & there - just mushmouth crap. They'd have better off with James
Brown on vocals - then you could understand a word every now & then. Dr. Feelgood
was a particularly bad/good example. Imagine a hearing impaired person doing
