Eddie's anti-Michael Anthony views were triggered by something that happened in the past. I do not believe that all of the sudden, Eddie stopped respecting Mike for no reason whatsoever. A major falling out between the two had to have happened when Sammy left in 1996 to when Sammy came back in 2004 and it had to have been on the same level as the EVH/Sammy Hagar falling out.

Eddie seems like the kind of person that once he gets the idea that someone he works with wronged him in any way, he just cannot let it go. He may not be a "hateful" person per se, but he can hold one hell of a grudge over something that happened years ago.

I'm telling you again, he's been bitching about Mike making the same cut as him since 1937. That's why he hates Mike. Plus Mike went and played with The Enemy instead of sitting around playing with his balls while Ed was drunk and high 27 hours a day. That's it, that's the problem, that's the issue. And it's a fucking joke. A grown man gonna be pissed that one of his bandmates wanted to go out and tour and play Van Hagar (and a couple Van Halen) songs instead of just sitting in his house all day. Give me a fuckin break. That's the epitome of immaturity! That'd be like you being married, ok, and you're a miserable drunk dick sucker and all you wanna do is get high and drink some more. And your old lady, she wants to go out with her girlfriends on Saturday nite because you don't want to leave the damn house except to dumpster dive for more shoes and pants. Plus you despise one of her friends because yall had a couple big arguments and you finally told her not to come back. So you get all pissed off at your wife because she doesn't want to spend her life doing what you're doing, you file for divorce so you can drink even more cheap wine and do more dope and basically live in garbage can. And yet you carry that grudge against your ex old lady because she had the balls to go out with that chick you hate.
