So I think it's all an early indicator we all aren't going to get along and without people willing to put the security of the nation before their own selfish interests things are going to start to come apart. Two things about the alleged "drug cartel" problem....

1) The drugs that make it across the border usually do so through legal ports of entry - border crossings, by boat, the infamous Mena Arkansas AFB story, or even the old "swallow the balloon" trick. Klansman Steve KKKing's idiotic story about Mexican kids with "calf muscles like cantaloupes" carrying 50 pound bales of Mexican dirt weed through an open desert - that shit has just never happened.

2) Speaking of the Mexican dirt weed, now that Colliforneea has legal cannabis (and much better quality) it's funny how there's not much of the dirt weed being smuggled across the border into that state. New Mexico is now considering legaization for exactly that reason. Up here on the other border, we don't see BC bud around here anymore. It was actually good quality stuff, but it's obsolete now that I can go to 420 Capitol and pick up what I need at my convenience. And maybe some of those BC growers are now legitimately contributing to the Canadian economy, since they did the sensible thing up there on the National level, eh?
