<sigh> Much respect to Diamond Dave going on with the show. Dude is a warrior. The band sounds really solid. But it's nothing new. And Dave really needs to be careful about his legacy. It's a little like watching Willie Mays stumbling in the outfield of Shea Stadium.Comment

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!Comment

"With Wolfie up there ??" Good point. Agreed. Dude can play. Impressive work on ADKOT. But, he is part of the tarnish, for sure. In my opinion, this is just a money grab. I'm not going to see them live this time. Even though it will probably be the last time. And I'm not buying the new "record". And when I tell my nephews and nieces about the MIGHTY Van Halen... they'll have a much different image in their mind than I do in mine.
Dave to the Grave.
A man has to make a living. I get it. I just wish it didn't end this way.Comment

I thought Dave sounded as good as he is going to sound at this point in time. With that said, I will take Van Halen any fucking day over 90% of anything else out there. It will be a pleasure to go see Ed, Al and Wolf tear it up on a summer night, playing classic Van Halen with the only singer worthy of fronting this band. Has Dave sounded better? Of course. Could Dave sing the songs better? Yeah Is a back yard barbeque coming to a town near you this summer with a band playing tunes that will leave you smiling from ear to ear. You better fucking believe it. I'll take it and I sure as hell won't apologize.Comment
