Hey All,We're about four days from finishing the new KISS album. Eleven tracks, and it IS everything I've told you. It IS classic. It IS all written within the band. And IT ROCKS BIG TIME! According to My Rocket Science (My Rocket Science  ::  Maximzing The Artist Brand), the release date for Ace Frehley's upcoming "Anomaly" album will be September 15th. This date has also been mentioned as one of the possible release dates for the new Kiss album so this might an amazing day...

Even though most of the original players didn't played on that album...but I agree with you...Psycho Circus is an amazing disc....and there's some classic Alice Cooper feel on that album, a big inspiration for them during that record sessions!!

I wouldn't say it's amazing but Psyco Circus is better then fans give it credit for. I like most of Gene's songs he really hit it out of the park. Into The Void sucks as do most of the songs Paul brought. Paul really sucked ass on that one. His Asylum and Animalize material was better.

It's that sort of thing that makes you think the band were just following a trend in their classic days and their heart wasn't in it. My last listenable Kiss album was The Elder so I've got no great expectations.

I always found The Elder to be unlistenable. Outside of a couple songs it really is a steaming pile of shit

Classic is a word that gets used far too easily.

An album becomes a classic over years of enjoyable listening and/or the impact it has.

You can`t say (especially if it`s your own work) that you`ve got a classic on your hands.

I find it insulting.

The world at large will be the judge of how good it is.

You`ve answered your own statement.

Considering Paul wrote more than half the songs then by your own admission the album isn`t great.

The biggest problem is it falls between too many stools, there`s a half assed concept in there that goes nowhere and far too much self congratulary cheese.
