only one coming to mind are AIC and AC/DC, and both wern't nearly as good.

They don't need to record & tour as Queen. They could maybe do like they did with rodgers..."featuring or with" and do 1 off stadium shows every year or 2. maybe an album similar to Santana with many different singers. Duvall is a great singer, but I think they should have changed the name of the band. All due respect to Cantrell and the others, but Layne WAS Alice in Chains, just like Freddie WAS Queen.

This Lambert biz smacks of May and Taylor just not wanting to pack it in and being willing to cut corners in order to keep going.

Didn't really care much for what the band did with Rodgers, either, truth be told. Replacing a lead singer in an acceptable way is darn near impossible for an established band...sad to say, but when Freddy died, 'Queen' died with him.

These fucking trodding classic rock warhorse bands keep plodding on to mine some more coin out of a name in a manner that ends up making the very name itself meaningless.

Shame that so few of these established rock musicians have the integrity or balls to try something new under a NEW BAND NAME.

I guess money does trump soul.
