Just re-bought "See the Light" on vinyl. Sorry, can't help digging up this thread... But Jeff Healey sure is somebody worth mentioning now and then.

Playing with Marcus Miller on bass (well, not maracas of course). I once read Healey had about 25,000 1920s and 1930s jazz records, a music he dug more than blues.

What a great musician, and surely a great man too. Almost 9 years...

He was mediocre at best. Pop-sloppy white boy blooz playing with the same worn out cliches and riffs. Listening to Jeff Healey was like listening to your drunk uncle play guitar as part of his rehab therapy. I've shat coffee turds that had more class.

But thanks for this, you lovers of other failed musicians. This put me in the mood to catch up on my podcast hate mail. Starting with YOU, Jennifer Briney.

How anyone can talk for nearly 3 hours and yet have nothing to say boggles the mind.

Oh, RIP, Jeff. I won't miss you.

You decided nine years later to grace us with your usual brand of stupid shit? Bravo, you useless attention whore.
