Just re-bought "See the Light" on vinyl. Sorry, can't help digging up this thread... But Jeff Healey sure is somebody worth mentioning now and then.

Playing with Marcus Miller on bass (well, not maracas of course). I once read Healey had about 25,000 1920s and 1930s jazz records, a music he dug more than blues.

What a great musician, and surely a great man too. Almost 9 years...

I got to see him in Alpine Valley the weekend Stevie died.

I saw a few shows there while stationed at Great Lakes in 82.
