I just have to laugh at the irony and poor legal perceptions posted here... I don't care that it's Trump or any other wealthy individual.

Tax returns are not some secret criminal cache hidden in some back room. They are legal documents filed with federal/state agencies with full legal oversight and audit ability in place with volumes upon volumes of law backing them.

Think about that... if there were some easily mined "proof" of criminal activity in those documents... wouldn't the IRS, SEC, Treasury and all the other established legal entities have been all over Trump prior to and even during his being elected..?

It's not like Trump or his business dealings has been hiding for decades...

Now that his tax forms have been released they won't see public inquiry and the ball is squarely in the SDNY to either form a Grand Jury by a judge for possible indictment. I voted for Biden, but Biden never was and is never going to be an electrifying candidate.
