    Whitney Houston died this afternoon ... a rep for the singer announced. She was 48.

    Whitney Houston died this afternoon ... a rep for the singer told the Associated Press.

    Houston won two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards during her record-breaking career. Her album "Whitney" was the first female album to ever debut at #1 on the Billboard Charts. She has sold 200 albums world wide.

    Houston holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Grambling State University in Louisiana.

    Houston had one child, Bobbi Kristina, with husband Bobby Brown. Houston and Brown were married from 1992-2007.

          Damn...I thought she had pulled it back together.

          Very sad...may her beautiful voice be heard forever in the great beyond.

          I know that everyone is responsible for themselves, but I blame that fuckhead Bobby Brown for most of this....

                  What's the betting line it was suicide? I'm guessing a lethal cocktail of apple juice and barbiturates; the news is not surprising, she was a major flake in the "biz."

                                          TMZ has a video of her at dinner last week & she didn't appear wasted. She is dating a guy named Ray J who I think is the guy from the Kardashian sex tape. My thoughts are they hit a bad batch of drugs & she overdid it. Sad. Only a little shocking. A huge waste though.
