I agree about the windshield. I have a quick connect one that only gets put on when the temps drop really low. I’ve ridden thousands and thousands of miles with no windshield, no helmet, and the wind in my face. Doesn’t get much better than that.

Over 40 years of riding, rarely with a helmet. I’ve been fortunate to live in two States that don’t require them.

Most guys that die on bikes, die from internal injuries. Yes, there are exceptions, but most that don’t survive, weren’t going too with or without a helmet.
