    EEAS Opel ad?

Adverts of Opel 2016 model sale. I don't know if this design is international or specific for local dealers from Poland.

Does it really ring a bell or is it just me?

That's a Mardis Gras or Paczki Day head dress. Dave wears one at the beginning of the Yankee Rose video. In Poland instead of Mardis Gras they have Pacski Day also known as donut day or pancake day. Mardis and Paczski Day are both related to lent.

It's sow your wild oats the day before you go and repent. As Dave once said religion fuels a counter rebellion.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

Paczki Day is how american Poles call it. In Poland we call it Fat Thursday (Tlusty Czwartek), but we don't wear any special hair dress. Fat Thursday is all about standing in ridiculously long lines to buy tones of donuts. Sounds stupid and it's stupid indeed

Gdansk is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. It's one of the oldest cities in Poland, although almost comletely destroyed during the WWII and rebuilt just after the war. If you're interested in history, here are some pictures from 1945. It's unbelievable that now the city looks like it was all ancient. Have a good birthday!

Enjoy it while you have it. Opel might get sold to Puegeot=Citroen.

Did the head dress in the ad have anything to do with Paczki Day or Fat Thursday?

I don't think so. It doesn't look like a hair dress to me - more like a peacock tail.
