Why settle for something you have, if it's not as good as something you're out to get?

Well, you have the advantage of making that elitist claim, obviously, but I'm sure many Americans would disagree with you, not that you'd give a flying fuck.

However, all they can claim is that their spelling is ALSO correct, not that it's the correct one.

Seeing I'm an elitist prick meself, I will take your neighbour's language over the American crap.

        Cheers!

Try to say both. Aluminum is much easier & we all know Americans aren't that bright. They'll struggle for half an hour trying to pronounce aluminium.

Same as shift that thing over there. Moooooooove is much easier, like a big dumb cow.

                          Cheers!

Actually, the word usage in question was "nobodies" instead of "nobody's" - so is the former correct in proper English? Just from a sentence breakdown perspective - that doesn't seem to establish possession (or look to be an abbreviation of "nobody IS"), looks like
"no bodies" was run together. So over there, where English is even more "proper" - is not indicating possession gramatically correct? Just curious.

Make up your mind, woman. If the U serves a purpose, then you can't disagree, since the U is used in Britland, not America.

Apparently, Canucks use it too, is that right?

I'd say Canada don't butcher the English language like what America does.
