SRV was one of the greatest musicians God ever put on this earth, imo. If you want to start a SRV Masters Series thread, let me know, and I will put some awesome and rare vids and auds here.

PS: I couldn't get your link to work. Went to the site and tried to fix the link, but still didn't work. Probably needs to be parsed, will look at it later and try again.

This is a DLR site, but if you bros want, I will post some ultra rare, never released SRV in-studio material. It's from the tapes that Jimmy Vaughan used to pull material for "The Sky is Crying" album after SRV's death, including SRV's just totally awesome version of Hendrix's "Little Wing", and of course "The Sky is Crying", among others.

I've got 3-4 studio "takes" of the above songs, and around 20 hours more from these tapes, - just killer stuff. There is like 13 songs on there that have never been released to this day.

Yeah that link is all fucked up. I have noticed if you use parentheses in URLS it makes them not work.....I tried to post it using a URL tag here, but it would not work, so copying and pasting was the only way I could get it to do so.

Hmmmm...I have an idea....temporary, but it will work....I am uploading this video to yousendit.com.

I will then post the link, and you guys will be able to get it for 7 days....

Yousendit.com is an easy way to share files. It was originally intended as a way to send large files to peeps. For those of you who have not used it, you go to www.yousendit.com, fill in the blanks with the email address you intend to send the link to (your own if ya want, or make one up). Then browse on your hard drive to select the file you want to upload to the yousendit.com servers. Then you hit the upload button. Once it is done, two things will happen. 1. An email will be sent to the email address you specified with a link to a page on the yousendit.com website. Ya go to that page, and there will be a link that says something like "Click here to download". And 2: The upload webpage you were staring at while it is uploading will change to a page that says something like "upload completed", and it will tell you the same link that was sent to ya at the email address.

File size limit is 1Gb. YES, ONE FULL GIGABYTE.

The file will stay on their servers for 7 days, and will automatically be deleted before then, unless you (or some worthless cocksucker) deletes it before then.

Of course if you want to share with only a select few people, you can uplaod the file, and send the link as it was intended, by email, or by PM, so that it is not necessarily public knowledge.

Ok, finally had a chance to see what the problem is here.

Chief, you had it right, but you can only cut & paste than URL into a downloader application, because the file size is so big (56.3 MB/mpeg), and it is not a streaming video

What I mean is, anything in that source site's directory you try to play, it will first download it to your browser temporary folder, before it plays.

Also the URL (that the site's idiot owner wrote) is too large for the tag limitations of this site's software, by design.

So here it is again. replace the XXXX with http

That was a good source post bro!

I found 4 great video's "backdoor" searching that site's directory. Will post them in Bootleg corner in the respective threads. For example that site had a killer Satriani in studio shot video, from the same session of another video I have already posted here that was killer.

These high tech mini cams, that are the size of the palm of your hand, have a mind of their own. Must be built into their high speed chips or something. They just go wandering off to the stranges places, unannounced,.....I don't know why :-)

Well ends up that's not a good copy of SRV's gig. The video has a big yellow "sticker" in the middle of it that the guy's bit torrent accout has expired. You can still see and appreciate the video but that's about all.

No biggie, I have that whole show, with SRV's performance in my master files. Will put together a Masters Series Thread on SRV if everyone is interested.
