                  Van Hagar is averaging 9,200 tickets sold on this tour with tix averaging $74. Most arenas average about 16,000 seats.

                  That's TWO-THIRDS FULL. For a VAN HALEN show! Upper levels are being closed off, people are being moved down to better seats, two-for-ones are being offered and radio stations can't give enough tix away.

                  Pathetic! This tour is a huge FAILURE!

                                  Don't forget that they are getting a fixed fee for each show An average of $600k a show,probably doesn't even cover their cost, let alone the produciton costs of putting on the shows. They are on average filling venues half full and that is with plenty of free tickets. Anyone that doesn't understand that must be an inbred, thieving biotch that lives with his mom...oops.

                                      I saw the show in Albany. Let me tell you, the lights, staging etc, were shit. The only cost I saw were the 3 video screens: one for each person who actually PAID to get in.

                                                      You would be surpirsed how much it costs to rent the venue, cart the gear, the crew....all of tha tis VERY expensive. Historically tours cost so much that they don't generate much profit. Most acts tour for exposure to pump record sales. There are some bands that do extremely well with tours, but traditionally, that isn't the norm.

                                                          the only thing i will continue to say is wait until the tour is over to say anything...those numbers are based on 13 shows. lord only knows what the numbers will be but that list is based on the 13 shows in June. we shall all see where they end up, but the pace they are on has the gross over $20 million bucks which aint half bad, and yeah i will be fightin with you guys if roth ever comes back for tickets
