Well, hell, I like some Van Hagar songs, and I don't care if you think I am an idiot. I just like David Lee Roth better.

Why act guwapo?

Im sure you have several Van Hagar tapes/vinyls/cd's and probably caught them once or twice in concert as well. (i'm sure most of you do/did)

But of course most of you will dance around that fact and pass it off as being "young "or "naive" at the time.

It's a forgivable sin. A lot of us weren't old enough to catch the DLR era live (like myself)...a lot of us weren't expecting predominantly Hagar material live the first time we ever got to go see Van Halen (I know I wasn't...I left my first Van Halen show unsure what the hell happened and didn't find out until much later that predominantly Hagar material was the NORM); many of us made our judgement calls after the fact (I did).

Being young and stupid is, to my mind, easily forgivable - I was in the same boat myself, and I'm just as "Dave or the Grave" militant as anyone else around here.

There are those who went to see Van Hagar out of the same FREAKISH curiousity that one experiences when passing an accident and turning around to see what happened. Others, knowing they NEVER wanted a SHIT-SANDWHICH, opted out from the begining.
