The 2003 tour doesn't need any 'splainin'--the setlists were even better than 2002(included more solo tunes and jams like Low Rider, Theme From Shaft, Dance To The Music and Shoo Bop) and Diamond Dave was still surfin' from all the good and victorious vibes(and $) he collected in 2002. Nah the vibes on the Van Hagar 2004 Tour are all wrong. And bad. Eddie looks like he has one toe in the grave. The Roth-era tunes are a joke(THEY DON'T SOUND GOOD UNLESS JIM DANDY JR. SINGS 'EM), the new tunes suck, the old tunes continue to suck. What about Spammy? Well, he's a buffoon but an honest mind wants us to say what he deserves, that is he's currently the best of all his bandmembers. And since Spammy is worldwide known to be shit - he's always been an inconsistent and secondary figure in the music world -, the others are even lower than shit.

If Dave took the band's name, like Axl Rose cleverly did, Van Halen fans would have nothing to bitch about today, because last Dave shows have been very good. I think Eddie was 10 or older when his family broad to America. I read it on some Guitar World interview with him, when he was speaking about how difficult it was for him and crap like that.

I said I am surprised, because Netherland is an advanced country. I don't feel to blame USA's school system because at 10 you're already a little man, your temper and everything is quite already defined.

Sure Dave is playing material he wrote/co wrote but the members of his band havent recorded a NOTE of single material for him. They rely HEAVILY on his van halen material and play a handful of solo DLR tunes in concert. Hence i call them a coverband.

If they recorded an album of ORIGINAL material, toured behind it and actually played a majority of it in concert I'd take them more seriously as artists.
