Anyone here played Fatso`s Yamaha signature bass?

I tried one out at a local store and thought it was ok( except for the lame ass bridge and ugly as hell fretboard inlays) but all in all, I dont think it`s worth the asking price.

His younger brother Dennis used his Yamaha's, and until I compared 'em to a Fender in my own garage setup I preferred the standard Precision Bass.

I still think they look fruity and don't like them for that reason.

I'd take the Chris Squire signature model ANYDAY!

Sheehan`s Yamaha Attitude was/is a very solid bass, kinda wish I hadn't traded mine.

I don't want no fucking chili peppers on my bass. What is this latest chili pepper obsession Mike has gotten into. I mean he wasn't selling hot sauce and putting chili pepper graphics on his shit in 1984.

As far as signature basses go, I like the Geddy Lee Fender Jazz Bass.
No! You can't have the keys to the wine cellar!

I've got no problems with chili peppers as fret markers...I have a problem with it being one of the most generic basses ever made, tone wise.

If you wanted to play on something and not get noticed, then this is the bass for you.

                      That's what Eddie, likes, Brown....

Mike's known in =VH= for his backing vocals first.
"Honey, my shirt got itself torn up. My shirt tore itself on that stripper's hand, and I need it to be sewed up for the show."
"No problem, Dave, no problem. Say hello to Fluffy."
                      "Fuck you, Fluffy."
"No, no, you're going to upset Fluffy."
"I ain't saying hello to no stuffed bear."
"You know, now that I think about it, it's going to take a little longer to sew up that shirt than I was thinking."
                      "Hi Fluffy, how you been?"
"Now that I'm thinking of it even more, it's going to take half the time, Double D, Diamond Dave! Would you hold Fluffy?"
                      "N--- yeah."
