Hey Just a quick little thread....Does anyone know what RON WIKSO...any chance of him being on the DLR tour?

We did an interview with Ron Wikso a couple of years ago....seemed like a down to earth guy. However, I do not believe Ron will be replacing the mighty Ray Luzier anytime soon. Can you guys believe that the only drummer to have played longer with Dave than Ray is Alex Van Halen? I can...Ray is THAT good.

I'm not a big fan of Ray...

His playing on DLR Band is outstanding, so yes, I guess I am a fan...

But he doesn't do Alex justice...

He doesn't know the songs...

Alex's drumming plays an integral part in the classic Van Halen, and Ray seems to totally over look it...

no, no, no...i wrote him and he replied me. it was not a mailing list letter!

he was happy to hear greetings from scandinavia, wished me good luck with my band etc...he proved he actually read my mail too!

The interview was for this site, it was a collaborative interview with questions from us webbies.

I've also gotten an email personally from Billy Sheehan....he was correcting me on something I stated on the VHML way back when. I was quite surprised that he reads those mailing lists.
