Iron Maiden`s forthcoming DVD "The early days" (released November 8th) will be the first in a series of DVDs planned by the band.
"The early years" will cover the period from the band`s inception until the "World Piece tour" of 1983.

The next planned DVD will feature the years 1984-1987 and will include the legendary "Live after death" video concert filmed at Long Beach Arena in 1985 and also footage from the "Somewhere on tour" concerts to promote the "Somewhere in time" album.
The plan is for all their previous concert videos to be included in the DVDs that follow as well as unseen recordings from as many tours as possible.
The band are also lining up festival appearances for next summer and will be basing the show on "The early years" by featuring many classic songs which haven`t been played for years and vintage stage props.
Phew!
I`ll be buying the lot.
