Jones Jr. won maybe 2 rounds of the first 8 rounds. From the opening bell, Johnson took it right to Jones and almost ended it earlier.

This wasn't a TKO, Jones lay motionless for minutes and his head bounced off the canvas a couple times when he went down.

This will be Johnson's first defense of the title. Johnson, a pro for almost 12 years is a workmanlike fighter who has faced some of the best fighters in the division. However, in his fights versus the best, he's come up short more times than not. Too bad Roy Jones has to come along and cherry pick the first world title belt Johnson has ever held.

Guess not, huh? :D

Roy Jones Jr. is a middleweight - Period.

From above referenced article
If Roy Jones retired now, he would be more remembered for his knockout loss to Antonio Tarver than anything else. So I ask: why is he fighting Glen Johnson?

So he can be remembered for his knockout loss to a journeyman? :D

While Johnson is back in his dressing room celebrating, Jones is still in the ring, and not wanting to go to the hospital. Preliminary diagnosed with a concussion, he is hopefully done.

He had no fire in this fight whatsoever. No sense of he was losing the fight when he clearly was.

Fight wasn't even close. Tarver was in the corwd and watched millions go down the drain.

He needed to show that he was still worthy of superfight consideration. He has been knocked out in devastating fashion now in his last 2 fights.

Done deal now. Beating John Ruiz for the heavyweight belt was a joke. Ruiz is, and always was nothing or nobody.
