Jamal to get a plea...in which he'd spend 6 months in jail after the season is over...

It's not in stone...but talks are underway...

Goes in in January...gets out in June...in time for mini-camp....

lmfao...go figure...

The charges he is facing are "conspiring to posses with the intent to distrubute" cocaine right? 40-50 kilos of it or something?

Is it just me or are the Ravens turning into today's version of the 90's Cowboys ??

And no, I don't mean with 3 SB rings....

LMFAO...

well...the good thing about that Va...is both players nailed...one initially for Murder...then conspiracy...then plea to sell out your friends...

one for dealing...then conspiracy...then plea to something...they are saying will be non-related to drugs so he doesn't face a suspension...

it's all fucking ridiculous...

Both future Hall of Famers...

Both big pieces of shit....

on a piece of shit team...

Ravens: Report: Lewis suspended two games, Sunday in doubt

by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com
Friday, October 8, 2004

News
Fox Radio is reporting that the Ravens have been informed that Jamel Lewis will be suspended for two games and will be fined four week's pay. The decision is expected to be announced on Friday morning. Should Lewis try to appeal the decision, he would almost certainly be available to play on Sunday. If not, the suspension would begin immediately, and Lewis would miss this Sunday's game against Washington and the next game against Buffalo.

Views
While hardly ideal, those with Lewis should be pleased that the suspension isn't longer. During any missed games, Lewis will be replaced by Musa Smith and Chester Taylor.

Let's see, if you take drugs you get a 4 week suspension. If you attempt to sell them you get only 2 weeks. At least the NFL encourages entrepreneurship

Lol nice observation monkeythe.

I dont get the NFL sometimes....they'll inject the players with various drugs to get them playing on the field or hook them up to an IV on the sidelines between plays but they raise hell if you toke up a little . (or snort)

I think he would have gottem MUCH more if he committed the crime while a member of the NFL, which he wasn't.....

He was drafted, not signed....
