Man I think better start spreading the word and get roth the sell out show he deserves. Here at r.army we constantly rerate VH for there 8 or 9 thousand nights. Damn Dave has sold out this 3000 (appr.) seat house....why???? Spread the word...lets fill the place so he returns

Dave doesn't get any promotion. VH gets promotion everywhere and can't sellout. 3000 would be half of what VH is pulling with tons of promotion. Be real. If not for this site NO ONE knows DLR is on tour. IT's that simple. He really needs more promo.

Casino Rama is not exactly convenient location wise.

If it was downtown it would sellout.

I have yet to see/hear 1 promo for the show.

Hey didn't the guy who first posted the date for the show

say he was handling the promotion? What's up with that dude??

Agreed. The least Dave could do to help is to post something about it on his site. But then, Isuppose it is possible he is getting an appearance fee and is not concerned with ticket sales.

On the flip side... if it were not for Dave, I would never have heard of that Casino. :D

Most of these Casino shows sell out just before the start of the show (2-4 hrs) When I went to the Vince Neil show at Kewaiden(SP?) tickets were available right up to the point where Vince took the stage, and once he started playing there was a rush of people that came in.

I hope he sells out this, as well as the show I'll be going to in Minnesota a few days later. I checked ticketmaster for availability for the MN show, and the only spot to get 2 tickets together was in the very last tier in the back. Even though ticketmaster isn't 100% accurate as too what is necessarily left for tickets, I thought it was a good sign!! Can't wait, we're almost only a month away!!! And sellout or not, I've got 5th row just to the left side of the stage, so I know I'll have a great spot regardless.

Hey jerkoff, get over yourself. I am not familiar with your site. You took me literally. I am sure there are other sites out there, but if you add up all of the people that they reach, you do not have much promotion. All DLR site's together probably don't equal 2% of the promotion that VH will get when their tour is mentioned once on say Howard Stern. Then multiply that by every radio station that mentioned it CONSTANTLY., then factor in the ads, the mentions in national and worldwide publications, the release of the greatest hits disc.....Get your head out of your ass. How many people do you think even KNOW that these DLR sites exist? That said, they are the ONLY source of promotion for this tour. DLR's site has nothing. No ads, no radio mentions, no publications. Shit, I am a diehard Dave fan, and I didn't know this site existed until a few months ago, and I am still not familiar with others sites. Stop being confrontational and go promote DLR to people other than the ones that are actively searching him out.

The truth is plainly stated above. The Casinos don't worry about promoting their shows because people will catch the show just because they are there.

For the seating, there is no reason for wide spread promotion.

hay bud that's me , they will be doing some commercials of dlr this week don't know what channel, but it's dlr at the boston pops july 4th.
just received some tickets for the show no charge,that really made my day.i.m counting my days. hope to see all you cool dudes.

As for me being 'confrontational' that's just a cheap attempt (and a sorry assed one at that) to slam me because I dared question lms2's armchair quarterbacking a game he's/she's never played, or even had the gumption to suit up for and get on the field (U.S. military service.)


Both sites are cool for the simple fact that we both celebrate the cool entity called DAVID LEE ROTH! If you want to gel with cool folks and enjoy the ride, that's available at both sites. If you want to be a bootleg Fab, then you need to get lost.
