i think diamond dave is a great cd. not hard rocking like dlr band but good tunes with that dave twist thrown in. what i like about these tunes that sometimes threw me off on the dlr band album is that his vocals dont sound forced.
on dlr it sounds like he is strugling to sing but on diamond dave his vocals fit the musical range nicely. fave tunes off diamond dave
she lookin good- rock out with blues beat
you got the blues- has that roth swagger
stay while the nigth is young-- melodic like secrets or little dreamer or damn good.
made up my mind- same as looking good blues based rock
soul kitchen- in my opinion better than doors version.
least fave thug pop- vocals sound forced, music is great thoughComment
