Question?

When or if VH makes it to the hall of fame
Who goes up to accept with them, DLR or sammy??? or both???

who performs, with them???

what do they perform??
I would rather listen to dave make an apperance, then listen to sammy speak

DLR is VH

what do you think of VH having both dave and sam
???
just curious

Unfortunately, Sammy will be there...........ridiculous, since Classic VH is what will get them there. But Sammy will be up there, acting like his era was so groundbreaking. Well, actually it is...........have you seen the fat fuck lately?!

The question is moot until DAVID LEE ROTH reforms VAN HALEN.

That's exactly when they'll be inducted. As soon as Dave returns they'll be in there faster than a poker up a puff.

Well, David said it best..."When we all get up there, I'll be able to look at Ed, Mike and Al and say to them, 'You remember, you were there'...I'll have to look at Hagar and wonder where he was at...and don't even get me started on Cherone..." (paraphrased).

Roth deserves to be up on stage with them accepting any and all awards. Frankly, the music industry should do us all a favor and induct them for the original lineup only...meaning Hagar can't show up.

True, but being so isn't going to make the reality of it (or Van Halens eventual induction) go away.

Are you feeling slightly jaded today? :)

Nah i just dont give a fuck about ANY kind of award ceremonies for entertainment.

VH being in the RRHOF isnt going to change anything for me . I could give a rats ass if they were in it or not. I still listen to the records on a daily basis.

Maybe for some of you it might be the last time to see DLR standing next to VH again....

That's why it's such an area of interest among a lot of people, I think.

Myself, truth be told, it'll be a sour note even if it happens. How much more incredible would it be if they could just get their shit together and do one more album, one more bang-up tour.

I think a lot of people think the RNRHOF is going to be the last time to see the original lineup together, but for me, it's a bit of a bittersweet note.

The ONLY cool thing about the RRHOF inductions is when they reunite bands that have been apart FOREVER and they get up and play. CREAM,The POLICE, LED ZEPPELIN(or as close as possible), etc.
Also, giving JOHN PAUL JONES the opportunity to thanks his "friends" For "Finally remembering my phone number" was PRICELESS. I hope VAN HALEN gets in and the shit hits the fan when DAVE rocks the mic!!!!

As much as we dream, VH will not go into the Hall without the fat one. Unfortunately, his gayness will not be denied.

I'd LOVE to see his fat ass try it now!

Watching him crash on top of the front row security would be worth price of admission alone!

no way he could reach the front row...he'd just fall face down from the drumraiser...

Amen. Do we really need the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to validate what we already know about classic Van Halen?

Would Van Halen have been inducted if they had simply folded up shop in 1985? Longevity might play a factor in the selection process, maybe not. Not really sure. The point is, they certainly should have just on the basis of what they released from 1978-1984 alone.

I say let the Van Hagar lineup walk out there with Gary Cherone in tow. Dave should stay home. If Roth compromises and shows up onstage with Ed, Al, Mike and Sam Hagar that's just sending the wrong message and undermines any invectives Roth has been slinging in the press for the last nearly twenty years.

More poignant statement for Dave would be to mirror his response to the nonsense of Van Hagar 2004, which is virtually nothing. Van Hagar blows. We've all known it for close to two decades. 'Nuff said.

:mad2:  MotherFUCK the RRHOF! That place could crash and burn for all I care! There's no way ANY replacement players should be inducted...they weren't there for the creation of these bands!

Dennis Edwards was a replacement player for David Ruffin (The Temptations, for you folks out of the R&B loop) and he was inducted! That's not right, gosh DAMN IT!

What DLR should do is go to the podium and thank the fans and any key members of former management he feels deserve special recognition etc and then walk off the stage. LITERALLY. I wouldn't speak to the rest of those dick wipes after the years of abuse and blame they've hurled at him. They have continually tried to erase DLR's contributions. If I were him I wouldn't even look at them let alone speak to or play songs with them. He could schedule a show somewhere in town for the night before and let the fans hear the real VH catalog. DLR shouldn't have anything to do with these losers. He doesn't need them, he has plenty of money.
