For the rest of us who live in the civilized world, we've had this album and we're bored of it already. I just about flipped when I noticed 'a new album".

Diamond Dave is well done, but I want new stuff rather than listening to him re-do himself, Jim Morrison and other obscure artists.

By far this is the only album that I loved for about a week and a half. As opposed to his VH catalogue EEAS and ALAE which still thrill me.

I went to that show too. Fuckin brilliant...........

The CD has been around in a few shops, but only a couple of copies at a time and not in all. Also, it was an import CD I think, so it cost an arm and a leg. There was a thread with a link to an artice about Dave realeasing DD in Europe, with a tour to follow. I guess this is the start of it..............

I listened to 30 second clips of all songs on www.amazon.com and the re-done Ice Cream man sounds awful............ And the other songs arn't great themselves. I won't be buying it. But I'll be at his show. Everbody should be.

I don't get the Cover of TOmoroow Never Knows. He could have at least covered a good Beatles song.

I have Diamond Dave here in the UK, but it was an import that cost me £16.99 (same for ALAE and THE BEST- can't actually get DLR BAND or YFLM right now). And yes, I was in Manchester on Fri Feb. 27 when Dave played his first UK shows in about 200 gazillion years. I'm happy to report that he still kicks ass!! Did anyone read the interview with him in Classic Rock Magazine which coincided with the 4 dates (Glasgow/Manchester/London/Wolverhampton)?

Sorry for the fact it's to small to read you'll have to save it and then zoom to read. It was the only way I could get it on the site.

I was going to transcribe it but I thought you would want the pics as well!

This is the last page of the interview. There's a picture of Dave doing a Kick on the next page, and it looks like he's about to drop his foot on the Bass Player.

I apologise again for it being small but I thought you would rather do a bit of work to read instead of not reading it at all.
