I've given up on caring who wins. Nothing will change. Will the state get smaller if one of these candidates are elected? Will I have more rights? Will endless war end? Will taxes end? I'm not going to delude myself into thinking that one is better than the other. They're all the same underneath. Statists. Even Ralph Nader is in on it at some level. How can the state save people from the state? I've given up on thinking that one brand of socialism can save us from the other. It's just stupid thinking.
I accept the lose/lose situation. If Kerry wins, the Republicans will scream at Kerry for doing the exact same thing Bush did in the next 4 years and the Democrats will thoroughly praise him for it. It's insanity, but it's fun to watch sometimes.Comment
