Everytime I log on the web site I get to see that VH logo..

This logo doesn't belong here as this is a DLR web site...

It should be removed immediatly..

Does everyone agree?

Nope, I don't agree. DAVID LEE ROTH IS VAN HALEN.

Matt's right. That logo is the true Van Halen logo.
If it was a false logo it would be the false 5150-onward logo with the globe.

Let's review:
Real VH Logo:

PHONY VH LOGO:

If you buy something with this logo, it probably, in fact it is confirmed that it cannot possibly be good.

I remember I used to carve that logo into the desks at school.
I would write it on my Vans, backpack. I got real good at it.
I also remember fantasizing that I would drive around with that huge ass logo covering the back window of my truck.
Hey maybe I should still do that.

The logo should DEFINATELY stay... I mean for Christ's sake, Dave is the guy that MADE VanHalen great... he named the band, AND came up with the logo... The "Globe" logo is just fucking VanHasBeen bullshit. CVH is the ONLY VH, and anything else fucking sucks ass.

Scotti,

I love that picture you attach with the comment, but frankly I think that Dave should never go back with vh it would be an insult to him, they mocked him soooo much over the years, I believe he should not go back and he should release all those songs that we love with his new band.. then the truth would shine like a diamond to all the vh fan old and new.

nothing wrong with that one and what it stands for

http://www.bootlegvideos.com/vanhalenlogobootlegvids1.jpg

this one should be banned for all times...but ed got it as a tattoo on his arm so you know which one he prefers....

http://www.rotharmy.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=273931

just imagine one of us true diehards gets into a tattoo studio saying "I want the =VH= logo" and the tattooer makes a little but serious mistake...

The Van Hagar logo looks gay. ( A swirling ring ? must be symbolic
of Sammy and Mikeys real contributions)

The original looks bad ass ! You could stick that mofo on
your car !

that would make a great avatar!

at least van hagar changed the logo-at least there was one thing that was saved from disgrace.

i thought of maybe putting that logo on one of my future camero's. But that logo should stay. dave made van halen. Sammy hagar made pork chops.

Sam made pork chops, ate them, then ate 2 bags of chips, 1 whole pizza, a bunch of bananas, and 3 whole cans of lard... THEN he went on tour...

After the tour, he took water, salt, and rubbing alcohol, mixed it all together and called it Red Voodoo....

Removing the logo from this site would be like wiping out Dave's history and persona... that logo personifies CVH and those great years. There are a lot of people who want to forget the early years, the classic logo is a permenant reminder.

I agree with everyone's view that Dave is Van Halen so the logo should stay. Panamark is right. The old school logo has bad ass connotations, while the Van Hagar one looks a little 'soft' to me. The Classic logo has an atitude about it. It looks rebellious and tough.
