Yesss. I'm a fan of all Anthrax-eras, but especially "The sound of a white noise". The last two albums, they've been good too, and it was grate to hear a wide catalogue of old and new songs. I do miss a proper solo guitar player...that is missing, though Anthrax is not based on huge solos.
Plus this time Charlie fucked up once.
Everybody, "Charlie fucked up!"

I've done a bit of checking up, seems he was recording again with Nicko from Maiden (that was 2 years back). I know he's on the books with Dean Guitars, so he must be up to something (as well as fixing clocks).
Originally posted by Diver Down NJ There's a really wacky interview with Dan Spitz on Metal Sludge. He spends his time repairing clocks or something now (no BS!).

I've just read an interview with Scott Ian on this, apparently he was fired or "asked to leave". From what Scott was saying in the interview Dan hadn't been pulling his weight with band for a few years, wasn't showing up at the studio (he was posting his bits in), and wasn't showing up for rehearsals and some shows.
