Dictatorships have a habit of posting portraits and statues of the dictator all over the country. They are often used as a psychological tool to remind the populace that (as Orwell put it) Big Brother is always watching

Here's a few examples from history.....

http://www.ex.ac.uk/Projects/meia/Lenin/Photo/l1920b.gif
Lenin - USSR - 1920

http://www.calvin.edu/academic/cas/gpa/images/hitler/hitleroval.jpg
Hitler - Germany - 1940

http://www.tsquare.tv/art/1991.gif
Mao Zedong - Peoples Republic of China - 1950

Fidel Castro - Cuba - 1960

Saddam Hussein - Iraq - 1980

And now it seems the world's latest dictator has joined the club in this sick portrait now appearing all over Florida, courtesy of state media Clear Channel Inc.

Hitler was legitimately voted into office. And he didn't need Diebold or the Supreme Court.

And Saddam won 99% of the popular vote in his last election.

Going bby logic, other dictators are the guy the used to own Wendy's and Ronald MacDonald. Those guys were everywhere!

Big difference. Ronald Mc Donald and Mayor McCheese are fictional characters created by McDonalds to sell a product.

Now while the concept of Bush's legitimacy may very well be fiction, the man himself is not.

For our slow friends in the red states, let's just get to the point.

THERE IS NO PREVIOUS EXAMPLE OF A SITTING UNITED STATES PRESIDENT BEING ADVERTISED ON A FUCKING BILLBOARD.

This is what dictators do. The statues will be next.

SIEG OIL!!

While we fund his "presidential yacht." Next we won't be allowed to turn off the TV. I just shake my head anymore. Things are going down the tubes very quickly.

Ford, you’re becoming seriously weird. Fast.
We’re not the insipid, unwashed, freeloaders you want us to be. Sorry.

Now I don’t have all the time needed to explain why colonial agendas fail. I don’t have all the time needed to explain why democracies fail and what they turn into and why.

This nation, The United States of America gets it right most of the time. That culture was set in place by white Christian men with the clarity and vision to enable The United States of America in this fashion. We don’t conquer countries and we don’t expand our borders.

Other nations have been pointing their “guns” at us. Pre-emptive strikes or wars are now reality. This is the culture we now face and is in no part different than throwing off slavery in The United States.

And for the record Ford, I don’t subscribe to the “love it or leave it” ideal. That’s un-American, period.

President Bush is not throwing Jews into death chambers, not sending people to a gulag for disagreeing, and not beheading innocents.

Get over yourself.

Hitler didn't throw Jews into gas chambers right away either. It took him several years to get to that point, and the path he took to get there is one that Junior has been following almost to the letter, so far.

"If we make the wrong choice, then the danger is that we'll get hit again -- that we'll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States," - Dick Cheney, 9/7/04 - implying that a John Kerry presidency would get Americans killed

Hey Ford, how do you feel about Senator (KKK) Byrd and all of the monuments dedicated to himself in W.Virginia?

They clearly out number any Bush memorials. By a lot...

Never been to West Virginia, so I haven't seen them.

Are they actual portraits and statues, or is his name just on a building somewhere?

And even if so, do they have the words "Our Leader" inscribed on them?

You spent some time in Germany, Asscrotch. Perhaps you saw some old posters over there with the words "Unser Führer" written on them. Guess what that translates to?
