What do you folks think of this band. I heard about 45 seconds of one of their songs a couple of days ago....sounded kinda bluesy.

How would you describe them? Do they have an especially good album worth checking out?

I love their early stuff, which was more country rock. AM is very good.
Lately, they've become extremely experimental.
YANKEE HOTEL FOXTROT is considered a masterpiece.

Summerteeth would be a good place to start. It's polished and poppy. I love it. AM is indeed very good- in a edgy country rock sorta way. Some great clever tunes. Check out "I must be high."

Yankee Hotel and [B]Ghost[B] are beautiful, but hard to get into. You have to be patient and the songs find you.

They are almost the American version of Radiohead, or verse visa.

Worth investigating.

I bought Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and a Ghost is Born.

Both are fucking fantastic albums. I'v been downloading a few of their bootlegs at bt.etree.org......great stuff!

yeah i love all there stuff the first track off of a ghost is born is incredible
