Metallica's Blackened

Apparently Metallica ripped off a song and played it backwards for the intro to Blackened. Hence why they cant play the song live cause its reversed.

Anyone have the full scoop behind this? If you so please feel free to share what you know about it.

I'm pretty sure that they played it when I saw them in '88.

they opened with it on the And Justice tour in 88/89

played it on the black album and Lollapalooza tours

open with it on the current tour!

They don't play the intro part. Its the album that plays in the backround then they start playing when it ends.

In May here in Saskatoon they opened with Blackened...the intro was definitely recorded.
