Really?...Boston's on roids?

I'd have never figured it...

he didn't fade...

he got hurt...and is out for the year anyways...

Why the fuck is he appealing?

Fade from being a top receiver, fade from people's memories. He hasn't done anything since 2002.

Hmmm...maybe it was because of the steroids?...

Have you seen the guy...he looks like the incredible Hulk?

He's missed a shiteload of games...from injury...tendenitis...muscle injuries...

I wonder why?

Lou

OK, well whatever the reason, forget him, he's a memory. He faded pretty fast as far as being in people's minds when you think of WR's in this league.

As far as performance...sure...when you haven't played all season...you are bound to fad from fans minds...

obviously...to show up in a news article about serving a steroid suspension...he remains on the minds of a few people...

just not you...or me for that matter...

Report: Boston facing steroid suspension

December 5, 2004

NEW YORK (AP) -- Miami Dolphins receiver David Boston, who has missed the entire season with a knee injury, is appealing a four-game suspension after testing positive for steroids, Fox Sports reported Sunday.

Neither the NFL nor the Dolphins would comment on the report.

Boston, obtained by Miami in a trade with San Diego in the offseason, injured his knee in August and is on injured reserve.

Boston pleaded no contest to a charge of driving under the influence of drugs in March 2002 while playing for Arizona. Signed by San Diego in the 2003 offseason, Boston was suspended for one game last year for conduct detrimental to the team.

He was arrested in October in Vermont, where he is rehabilitating, on charges of assaulting an airport gate agent. He is scheduled to appear in court on that charge this month.

The Cardinals' first draft choice in 1999, Boston's best season was 2001, when he had 98 receptions for 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns. After signing with the Chargers before last season, he had 70 catches for 880 yards and seven scores, but was dealt for a sixth-round draft choice because of run-ins with coach Marty Schottenheimer.

Imagine if he had panned out for San Diego...with that team this year...

If they would have gotten the Boston from '98, the monster year.

They'd be "Indy-ish".

Their D is looking good...and they finally beat Denver in a close one...that really closes out the Broncs...

now onward for San Diego...they are an interesting team...

a team that could put a crease in a coaches brow...lmfao...

of course...we all know Schott can't get to the big one...

And the Brees decision in the off season is gonna be a huge one.

Franchise him or not, sign him or not, can't imagine them dealing Rivers, don't see how it could work.

The only way you deal Rivers is if you can get a top five pick in return...

it could be interesting...looking at the teams that will be the top five...

San Fran, Miami, Cleveland...

then you have the 4-8's...like Zona (hmmmmm), Oakland (hmmmmm), Dallas potentially (hmmmm)...

You may have someone who will deal...

Other than Dallas, maybe Oakland ... the rest of those teams in a QB in my opinion. The rest need to start over.

Looking at the college QBs, nobody to get real giddy about. Rivers would be best of that lot.

Plus a year's seasoning...I didn't get what you meant there...

other than Dallas, maybe Oakland...the rest of those teams in a QB in my opinion?

I can't imagine any of those guys in Zona being the answer...

Dallas has Henson, Oakland will go with Collins.

Zona needs a QB, Miami (not sold on Feeley or Feidler), and SF (Rattay or Dorsey is bad either way I think).

Like you said, SD would need a high pick in return for Rivers, and Mia and SF look like they will be up there.

San Diego sitting nice in the Draft already.

I agree a bit with Henson...they aren't going to spend the money on him and go a different direction...

I don't buy the Collins thought though...

how long was his deal?

Back to the steroids for a moment...

I was listening to the radio today...and they were saying...BALCO wasn' the only BALCO...

most of the athletes have been outed from that institutions...

but there are around 10 other BALCO's out there...

imagine that...

if only five players at each place...

50 big time athletes outed...

it could rock the whole sportsworld...

He's 31, and signed the 3yr, $12 million deal.

They might not have to be in such a hurry to draft a young QB, they will try and go defense or RB maybe.

No doubt about it.

I was pretty sure I heard that 4 Oakland Raiders tested positive.

Weren't they talking about last year though?...the Romanowski incident...

he, Robbins...and a couple of others...

Yeah, they could draft one to ride behind Kerry for a year, they'll be cutting loose Rich Gannon and that's a chunk of salary cap there.

They're ripe to groom one.

Not real sure, can't remember now. I don't recall Romo's being classified as steroids, diet pills are the last I remember, he and his wife or something. And I could be way off there too.

I think Wheatley may have been one of them, seems like he and Stubblefield both testified.
