Motley Crue Single is Simple Plan Leftover

Fans of rockers Motley Crue fear for the quality of their comeback material, after learning their new single was first rejected by rock band Simple Plan.

"If I Die Tomorrow" was originally recorded by Simple Plan during sessions for their 'Still Not Getting Any...' album, but they didn't deem it worthy of inclusion on the LP.

Motley Crue was handed the tune by producer Bob Rock, who worked on the band's new material after completing the Simple Plan album.

Simple Plan drummer Chuck Comeau says, "It's pretty dope to be thinking that such a influential huge band chose to work on a song that we wrote, for their comeback, their greatest hits package and their reunion tour. It's pretty amazing."

Maybe that explains why that song sucks so much. It sounded like a fucking hoobastank cover. Just dreadful!

They're doing another greatest hits album?

Shit, they have as many of those now as they do actual albums.
