He brought it all on himself. First, by ripping on the Army, and then posting a thread about his obsession with women's feet. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having a passion for toejam sandwiches, if that's what you're in to, but the whole world doesn't need to know about it. That's the sort of thing that you should keep to yourself. The guy is making himself too easy of a target for everyone here.Comment

Comments: I have been a dedicated Beatles fan for a long time now & Patti Boyd never suffered as much flak as a Beatles wife as Linda McCartney & Yoko Ono. She could have broken the friendship between George Harrison & Eric Clapton but instead inspired rock classics like Something & Layla.

It must have been a nightmare for you & your family when your sister Sharon & the others were tragically murdered back in August of 69. I have to admit I never heard of Sharon Tate until the Helter Skelter television movie way back in 76 during my younger days. Sharon Tate symbolically defines the 60's sex symbol just as much as Marilyn Monroe did during the 50's while I think she would have had her own TV series during the 70's. My interest in Sharon Tate is similiar to my interest in Charles Manson which is the times they occured in at the height of the hippie movement during the late 60's. I think the followers of Manson who murdered your sister & many others define for me how naive the 60's generation was at the time using the Beatles, sex & mostly drugs to get their attention. Sharon Tate was a beautiful & talented actress in her own right who didn't deserve to die so young but left movies like Valley Of The Dolls & her guest appearances on the Beverly Hillbillies for generations to come.

Jefferson Airplane are one of the greatest rock bands of the 60's who defined the psychedelic era in all its glory. I first became aware of the Airplane when I was about 11/12 years old way back in 75/76 speaking as a 40 year old fan. Somebody To Love & White Rabbit are psychedelic masterpieces showcasing Grace Slick at her finest along with the band. I have to admit I haven't heard any of the classic rock albums from the Airplane/Starship eras yet but I hope to soon.

How Did You Hear About Brady World?: Search Engine
Comments: I watched The Brady Bunch every Friday night when I was growing up in the early 70's. I had a TV crush on Maureen McCormick as well as Eve Plumb the final season. I think Florence Henderson is the number one television mom & the sexiest. It's too bad they don't make sitcoms like The Brady Bunch anymore.

Comments:The Wizard Of Oz is of the greatest movies ever made with few equals & one of my all time favorite movies along with Jaws which I saw for the first time when I was about 3/4 years old way back in 67/68. This classic movie will always be timeless because it's a cinematic masterpiece with great acting, a great script & great music while it's too bad it didn't win picture of the year at the Oscars.

Favorite Seventies Act(s): Alice Cooper & Lynyrd Skynyrd
Comments: I grew up in the 70's from my adolescents to my early teens when "sex, drugs & rock-n-roll" meant something more than it does today even though I never did drugs or drink with Van Halen & AC/DC being the last rock bands that had any impact on my young life which I'm thankful, the 70's was the last decade when it was all about the music, the concerts & the fans before the 80's came along with the advent of MTV which has brought the music fans nothing but disposable music artists with their looks being more important than their music with only a few important artists from that decade like U2 & Prince!!!

Comments: It was great growing up & being young during the decade of the 70s listening to Aerosmith, Kiss, the Eagles & Lynyrd Skynyrd when they were happening the first time around. My favorite television shows were SNL, Happy Days, Sonny & Cher and What's Happening.

I think Bon Jovi is one of the greatest rock & roll bands of the 80's because they had some originality even though they aren't one of the greatest rock & roll bands of all time like Led Zeppelin & Aerosmith. I think BJ is all about their one great classic rock album Slippery When Wet which is their only masterpiece even though I wouldn't compare it to Abbey Road by the Beatles. Since I'm around the same age as Jon Bon Jovi it's hard for me to imagine that he's considered a rock legend these days similiar to Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones with generations of fans after almost 20 years of rocking IMO.

Comments: I have been a dedicated Kiss fan since I was 12 years old way back in 76 even though I'm not a hardcore fan who has everything with the Kiss name on it. Kiss deserves to be inducted into the RNRHOF in Cleveland because they're more than just about their makeup, their pyrotechnics & the tongue of Gene Simmons but misguided critics still don't get it after over 30 years. I think it's time for Kiss to hang up their rock & roll circus for good because it doesn't make too much sense without Ace Frehley & Peter Criss while their farewell tour should have been the last.

I grew up in the 70's when rock-n-roll was rock-n-roll without any apologies from Led Zeppelin to Van Halen before the homogenized 80's with Bon Jovi, this is a great site for catching up on the latest news from my favorite artists of my youth from Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, Kiss, AC/DC & VH, I'm in my late 30's now & I love rock-n-roll & will always love rock-n-roll even though the days when rock bands had long hair, loud guitars & bad ass attitude during the 70's are long since gone.

RE: Republican convention Schedue
Since I'm not a card carrying Republican or Democrat because I can think for myself but I like to watch politics on C-Span & listen to talk radio but both political party conventions are crazy from beginning to end while you have too much time on your hands & too much " bias " to be fair & balanced with this idiotic schedule!

Comments:I think Born Again is a great rock album by Black Sabbath speaking as an old fan during their later years when everybody & their grandmother was in this legendary rock band at the time if you're not expecting Paranoid, Masters Of Reality & BS4 which is saying a lot. I can see why it lasted only one album looking back on it because the Sabbath/Purple connection was too damn confusing as in their image even though there was no denying Tony Iommi's blistering guitar & Ian Gillan's powerful vocals along with great tracks like Trashed, Disturbing The Priest & the title track.
