    Lakers 2005

    I haven't been around much.

Anyway okay lets hear your opinions on the Laker Team of 2005.
I still love them. This is a free for all on everything about the lakers good or bad.

Lamar Odom is proving that he should be 1A...not just a rebounder...

How long will it take Laker brass to realize that Kobe can't pad his assist numbers in the first three quarters...than ball hawk in the fourth...taking out everyone else...

and they still need a center...

not having Shaq is killing them...

They get a big man...and get Kobe to make Odom a part of the game when he's on the court...and you have something big going...

I don't think it will happen though...

The Kobe injury is gonna turn out to be a blessing in disguise...

Having guys like Odom stepping it up is huge...

Like Poj said, they get a decent big man, they could make some noise....

And you really can't argue much with what Mihm has done.

Reminds me of Brad Miller, made himself a pretty solid center.

He is similar to Miller...even maybe a bit more athletic...but you don't win a title with Mihm as your center...unless the Lakers turn into the Bulls title run...

and Kobe can't make that team better until he decides that other people can help him win...

you can't shoot 40% and win titles...taking up all the shots...

Odom is a stud...can do it all...and until Kobe takes him in...it's all over...in LA LA LAND...

I agree with you about get Kobe to make Odom a part of the game.
That is true about assist and ball hawk too.

They just need a big center not Shaq. Too bad Divac is injured.

What do you mean its all over in LA? I think I know what you mean Pojo. You are saying that when Kobi and Odom are a team then the lakers will do great. Right???

Maybe Luke Longley will come out of retirement..
J/K they aint going anywhere without a big man.
Kobe isnt all that they said he was, proven this year
i aint complaining either, i just dont see a dominant team
this year..the title IS up for grabs.

If Kobe hadn't started dropping Shaqs' name in his initial interview with the police we would be having a very different conversation. Rule #1 never rat out your boys. Lakers 1st round and out...maybe

First round and out.....yup. I'll buy that.

Mihm's not exactly a "tiny" man. lol. Shit, he's done pretty good. Good fit in LA though? Idunno.

I think Nene Hilario will be looking for a home next year where he can start. That might work.

Yep, and some folks are saying that Phil might come back.

If he comes back, does that mean all you guys that said Kobe ran him out of town will eat crow?
