Could Dave sell tickets performing his own solo material?

The last time dave played here he was doing his CVH tribute show with only a few of his solo numbers.

This was really frustrating.

I enjoy all of Dave`s solo albums, even "YFLM" and "Diamond Dave".

Why does he turn his back on his solo stuff, some of which is just as classic as CVH.

How would he fill an hour and a half set?

Design a set that would satisfy using only two CVH numbers and maybe one cover, with the rest being Dave solo stuff.

CVH is Dave's material, as is his solo stuff.

Why ignore some of the best tunes in Rock history.

When Dave played here in November it was a great

mix of both!!

It could work only if he got the EEAS band together to perform the material. You would draw the Vai/G3 crowd at least. Throwing in a dash of CVH as played by Vai/Sheehan would be interesting as well as their solo spots..

I disagree. He draws people simply by being Dave.

It is DAVE'S decision to play all VH stuff, which I think is a very shortsighted decision.
