With judge Rhenquists' health continuing to fail,pretty soon President Bush will have some tough decisions to make. If the confirmation hearing for Condeleeza Rice is any indication, the dems on the left are gonna make complete bufoons out of themselves.....Your thoughts please.

As long as Junior nominates a qualified Judge who is not a war criminal (i.e Gonzales) or a long term BCE political hack (i.e. Ken $tarr) then he or she will probably be confirmed.

Actually, there's a rumor going around right now that old Billy Rehnquist might in fact be none other than "Deep Throat" himself.

No, not the porn star, but the "secret informant" who supplied much information to Woodward & Bernstein in their investigative articles for the Washington Post which eventually brought about the book and movie "All The President's Men", as well as the end of the Nixon presidency itself.

If that's the case, maybe his "cancer" came out of a hypodermic needle from Langley, just as Bill Casey's and Jack Ruby's did. Silence the man's voice before he can reveal some BCE secrets on his deathbed.

Those "in the know" from the Watergate scene have hinted before that Deep Throat's identity would be disclosed after that person's death.

Rehnquist, of course, has cancer. Gerald Ford, who obviously gained a great deal by Nixon's resignation, is also said to be very ill, considering he didn't participate in the dedication of Clinton's library, or Junior's innaguration, or the recent tsunami relief efforts led by Poppy & Clinton.

Kissinger is another good suspect, but I have no idea about the current state of his health. And Poppy himself is another logical choice, but he was at the Super Bowl today, so he's not on his death bed yet.
