Actually, dumbass, it never sold 500000 copies. It's eventually shipped platinum. Platinum isn't a soundscan measure. The only people that use Soundscan are Billboard charts. That means 500000 copies have been shipped to stores in the U.S. It would sure help you to let you know that so many stores have multiple copies still, the Best Buys in my neighborhood have reduced the price once again, my local used CD stores have multiple copies, and I'm sure it will make its way to cut-out bins soon.Originally posted by Mishar_McLeud

Why would you want BOV1, minus great new Dave songs ??
The fact that it sold at all was because there was Dave era on there.
Those ball-less sisters wouldnt dare release a best of on the strength
of Samantha, alone. Look at the track listing, it even suggests you
might be getting some Classic Van Halen live in the package.
How many sales did they rack up with the last Dave album ??
Every Sammy album has sold less and less. BOBW just continued
this trend.
You can thank Dave for any activity in sales.
