Ask a stupid question you get a stupid answer

I found this forum game around on other websites so I thought I might try it here.

Basically I ask a stupid question then the next poster comes up with a stupid answer, and then they ask a stupid question and so it goes on.

Ok, here goes:

Do phones really make beeping noises? or ringing noises?
