Of course Van Hagar sucks, but why blame him, all he was doing was trying to advance his carreer. Why bash anyone, but if you're going to, then bash the Bros.
We all already know that comparing Van Hagar to CVH is like comparing Journey to Led Zeppelin, but keep bashing Sammy is totally inmature, but I'm sure you'll all keep it up anyway!

The problem with your analogy is this.... You go to a record store and you pick up a Led Zeppelin album, and you know exactly what you're getting. Same with a Journey album, though many of their early fans had no use for them once Jonathan Cain turned them into pussies.

But Van Hagar - under pressure from WB records or whatever - chose to market their bubblegum pop & cheeseballad albums under the name of "Van Halen". Which they were not, and never will be.

If you paid for an album that said "Led Zeppelin" on the cover, took it home and heard "Who's Cryin Now" and "Open Arms", you wouldn't like that, would you? Because it ain't fucking Zeppelin. Just as "How Do I Know When It's Cheese" and "Can't Stop Vomiting" ain't fucking Van HALEN!
