Crooner PAUL ANKA Covers Rock Classics For New Album [Rock Hard - 05.04.01 10:32:33]

MelodicRock.com report that old time crooner PAUL ANKA is set to release an album of covers, featuring many rock classics.



Anka’s forthcoming album, entitled Rock Swings, will feature the following tracklisting: ‘Eye Of The Tiger’ (SURVIVOR), ‘Jump’ (VAN HALEN), ‘Everybody Hurts’ (R.E.M.), ‘Wonderwall’ (OASIS), ‘Black Hole Sun’ (SOUNDGARDEN), ‘It’s My Life’ (BON JOVI), ‘It’s A Sin’ (PET SHOP BOYS), ‘True’ (SPANDAU BALLET), ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ (NIRVANA), ‘Hello’ (LIONEL RICHIE), ‘Eyes Without A Face’ (BILLY IDOL), ‘Lovecats’ (THE CURE), ‘The Way You Make Me Feel’ (MICHAEL JACKSON) and ‘Tears In Heaven’ (ERIC CLAPTON).

Last time I heard or sawa reference to Paul Anka, I was about 6 years old. I clicked on this thread expecting to see a really old bugger.

Boy, has he had some work done !!
