I had it on vinyl and picked it up on CD a few years ago. I really dug it back when.
I heard Sign of the Gypsy Queen on the local rock station a few weeks ago during "80s weekend". It brought back memories.

Well...thank god SOMEONE remembers it. I thought I was the only old bastard on this site!

I remember long ago dressing up in my finest pair of acid washed blue jeans with the freakin' lace on them and zippers up the back, the chain belt, and my hair jacked up to Jesus going to all the concerts I could afford in the 80's.
I missed the Fair Warning tour....man was I pissed!

April Wine got some airplay around here (since we're next to Canada and all) but that was probably more in the 70's than the 80's. I remember a few of their songs, but never bought the records.

I had it in the 80s. I still have an early single from 1973 by April Wine. The song "Teacher" backed with "You Shoulda Been A Lady".
I saw them on two headlining tours in the early 80s.
Pretty damned cool!
Their drummer at the time, Jerry Mercer, was already 60 years old when they hit it big. Damn...he must be around 80 by now. He was still playing when they did some reunion tour a few years back....
