          I am the interviewer

Edgar the Peaceful, sorry, but I refuse to download this. Nothing personal against you, but your game rating for your module is mature and I refuse to play any of those.

I bought Neverwinter Nights as a Teen rated game and I prefer to keep it that way (playing modules that are rated teen, everyone, or below). For those that want to know what I'm refering to,

Use the ESRB video game ratings guide to understand how the rating system works and how to use it to select appropriate video games and apps for your family

Mature stands for "content that may be suitable for persons ages 17 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content, and/or strong language." There's enough of that going on in the real world that I don't need to be reminded about it in a video game.

But I will give you a 10 because it's cool to meet ya!

          http://cgi.nwvault.ign.com/systemrat...the%20Peaceful','690','500','1','Vote');

Hope you do get into the Neverwinter Hall of Fame.

Thank you very much, Steve. I rated the module Mature because there is sex happening in the game, and the language is... well, pretty much what you can read from my posts here. Only better. That said, I understand your reluctance in downloading mature content.

I still have to say, though, give this one a try. Just a try. I promise you, it will NOT let you with a foul taste in your mouth when you're done... in fact, it might be quite the contrary. Violence is almost non-existant, therefore blood and gore are also out of the picture and foul language, I don't remember if I used any... but I don't think I did. In fact, I bet you'll be laffing your arse off in 10 seconds!

That said, now that I'm home I'm off to read your interview with the grate writer Tracy Hickman. I'll post the opinion here when I'm done.

DLR7884, what's your problem, bro? Huh?

              Cheers! :bottle:

Ima, I'm confused, first you say there is sex, and then you say you won't let a foul taste in my mouth... hint... if you have time to revamp, maybe a clean version of your module may be in order.

Anyways, did you see your 10?

EDITED TO ADD: I guess D&D is not DLR7884's thing, but personally, I am very proud of what I've accomplished, especially since a day earlier on Tuesday, April 12th, http://nwvault.ign.com/index2.shtml , I made news of Rick Burton, the man who has the top rated mod on the entire Neverwinter Vault:

Yep, "Midnight" is still rated #1!

                    Rogue, please elaborate.
And you could play as a rogue... rogues are a class in the D&D world.

Well, I'll start this by answering your question. Yes, there is sex. So? How can that leave a bad taste in your mouth - please people, refrain from posting jokes about unwashed vaginas. Actually, the sex part is an option, you have to 'sweet talk' her and everything. Of course, you can just be a jerk, you'll probably end up laffing your arse off anyway. It's hard to explain... it's not that big a download, nor that big a module. Just try it. Trust me. It won't hurt a bit. You can play the whole module WITHOUT sex, violence, blood and gore and foul language. I made it that way. Everything optional. I rated it mature because you have to have a mature attitude towards the whole thing, that's all. Just try it, you'll understand all this better.

As for the interview... GRATE! I ended up knowing a few more things about Tracy, including that he and his wife had written Pharaoh, instantly giving me another module to play. I finished Spires of Ravenloft long ago, and the end of that sucked ass. Why ruin such a grate module just to ruin it with all that religious bullshit? It's like huntin' fer treasure, only to find out the treasure is a Katydid thread... but I digress. I also have to check out their Bronze Canticles stuff. One thing got me curious, though... the question 'Also regarding that thread, what effort(s) do you think a computerized version of Bronze Canticles would require?' was referring to which thread? Can you post a link here? I'd like to read that too.

                        Cheers! :bottle:
